Job Description

⭐️ We need you ⭐️

Joining the Data Platform Team, reporting to the Lead Data Engineer, your mission is to participate in facilitating access to data in order to promote scalability. You will take part in the transition from a web centric to data centric design combining Apache Beam, Iceberg, Kafka with microservices on the cloud.

★ Design pipelines and know how to maintain and optimize them

★ Have a good knowledge of AWS or GCP and its services

★ Provide technical knowledge and have the will to build skills on data processing and lakehouse, our future backbone technology

★ Provide expertise in data modeling to help build the company datamarts

To succeed in your mission, you will be part of a skilled and collaborative team working with modern data technologies. We encourage continuous learning and innovation, with dedicated time for experimentation and skill development.

At our company, you will have weekly meetings with your manager to support your growth, quarterly OKRs to provide clarity on objectives, and an annual appraisal focused on your career development.

Preferred Experience

  • 🥉 To be considered for this position, you should have:

    *✔️A *Master’s degree     in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

    ✔️Experience working with relational and analytics databases (PostgreSQL, Athena, Apache Iceberg)

    ✔️Strong SQL skills (complex queries, optimizations, indexing strategies)

    ✔️Proficiency in Python (including pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn)

    ✔️Hands-on experience with ELT pipelines and DBT

    *✔️Understanding and being an expert of our *data modeling     and analytics concepts

    ✔️Experience working with AWS or GCP data services

    ✔️Experience with Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or Superset for reporting and dashboarding.

💰 Remuneration

  • For this job (CDI - full time), your base salary will be between 55 and 60K€ depending on your experience

Recruitment Process

1°   Interview with Damien, our Data Engineer Manager ~ 60 min

2°  Technical interview with Data Platform team members ~ 60 min

3°  Interview with Max, our Technical Product Manager ~ 30 min

4°  Final interview with our HRBP and our CTO

=> Depending on your availability, the recruitment process should last less than 3 weeks.
